One of the best restaurants in Victoria Island Lagos Nigeria.
I love the African delicious food here. Good customer service. Nice and beautiful interior design 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Decent food. Nice environment. The time it takes to present the food after the order was placed is quite concerning. Other than that, the ambiance and serenity of the place is commendable.
This restaurant is everything and more.
I’d rate 10/10 🔥
I got chicken pepper soup for 7,000 and it was worth it
From your video, you will see that this place is too beautiful and a must visit.
This is a beautiful restaurant and strategically located in an upscale area of Victoria island. Locating the restaurant is so easy as it is not far from the general post office office Adeola Odeku street VI. Once you are on that street, you won't miss the emperor. They have ample parking space with lots of greens. You are drawn in by the architectural design of the restaurant and whether you choose to sit downstairs or up, you will be comfortable. There is a well stocked bar at the main entrance and you can just cool out there. They also have an outdoor garden with some parasols and a water fountain. Now my experience at the emperor. I arrived there with a team of friends. Even though we had notified them a day in advance with specific orders for each person, their service was rather slow. We had to wait for over 35mins before our orders were delivered...I mean before the order of the first person was served... Afterwards the order started trickling in at about 10 minutes intervals. This was not peasant at all. In fact some people finished eating before some got their orders served....so we lost the fun of eating together. The DELAY was annoying and we left not too satisfied. On the meal, Honestly I enjoyed my meal. The vegetable and egusi soup with prawns and semovita was a hit. It was well prepared and served hot. Water was served in whatever temperature we wanted. So be prepared for a long wait when you visit the emperor... But you will enjoy the food. Ambience was cool. Furniture was on point. Cooling system functioning...outdoor water fountain was not functioning so the fun of seating outdoor by the fountain was lost. The lady who waited on us did it with smiles and she was pleasant. Christmas songs were played and entertainment was cool. In summary, the Emperor restaurant is a place to visit for personal and group hangouts. But speed of service delivery need to be improved upon. Its also a pricy place. ..not cheap at all. ...before I forget, even after it all, nobody came around to find out if we enjoyed our meal. Not even to apologise for the delays. The manager seem to be encumbered with paper works than actual customer service. If the professional presence of the floor manager was felt, I would have given 4 stars...and if service was prompt and not delayed, I would have given 5star rating. But for ambience and quality of food and efizzy, I give a 3.
The staff have all 5 stars. Imagine coming to enjoy a meal, but the enjoyment begins from the entrance. This place has warm, respectful and definitely awesome humans as staff to serve you and put you at ease to enjoy the meal. This is your super affordable and a bit upscale Nigerian restaurant, you can see the hard work put in all to please the eyes. Quite cosy for couples and perfect for teams as well. The meal is sizeable I could barely scratch the surface but damn, the seafood edikainkong and peppersoup was as ordered and tasty. The meals are à la carte and need to be ordered immediately you arrive for onward processing. Clean tidy environment and restroom. I'll be back to say hi to the staff.
