Food Shack

I recently visited Food Shack VI and overall, it was a decent experience with a few notable strengths and one area that clearly needs improvement. First, the food itself was genuinely enjoyable. The flavors were rich, well-seasoned, and satisfying. You can tell some thought has gone into the menu, and the portions are fair for the price point. The presentation was also appealing, making the meal feel worth the anticipation. Their menu variety is impressive, offering options that cater to different cravings, from quick bites to more filling meals. However, the main downside of my experience was the delivery time. Orders take quite a while to come out, even when the restaurant isn’t visibly packed. What should feel like a quick stop can easily stretch into a long wait. While I understand that freshly prepared meals take time, the delay feels longer than expected, especially for customers on tight schedules. There wasn’t much communication regarding the wait either, which can make the delay feel even more frustrating. That said, the staff were polite and professional. They remained courteous when approached about the delay and handled customer interactions calmly. With better time management and improved order processing, the overall experience would significantly improve. In summary, Food Shack VI delivers on taste and quality, but the slow order turnaround is something they need to address. If you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind waiting a bit longer for your meal, it’s worth a try. However, if you’re looking for quick service, you may need to factor in extra time when placing your order.

Food Shack has some of the best seafood in Lagos. The place is calm, not too crowded, and perfect if you want somewhere relaxing and comfortable. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food tastes great. Definitely a nice spot to enjoy good seafood

Definitely a must try in Lagos Food- 10/10 Service- 5/10 Ambience- 10/10 Pros - I got the food shack special with some dirty fries - My dates ordered the shack burger & 8 piece wings ( sweet & spicy) then the Lagos turkey combo- that sweet & spicy wings ( proceed with caution ohhh cause it was so delicious but 🌶️) My food was so so good , that Texas toast I need a whole loaf of that cause what. Those prawns wow ( seasoned beautifully- not usually a fan of prawns but I was very very happy ) , I got the shack bbq wings which was sticky sweet and so delicious. Now the dirty fries ‍💨‍💨 just wow. I love how every aspect of the meal had its part to play even down to the coleslaw & the grilled corn . Con - I didn’t really like the fact that I felt forced to give a tip, the bill already included a 10k service charge . Why was my waiter still asking me anything for the boys?💀. See that left a very sour taste in my mouth. I said I don’t have cash, he said I should transfer to his palm pay. No please don’t do that

I had a great time here. We got a platter and it was actually filling. The sweet and spicy wings were lovely. Although they didn’t have certain food options available so that was a bit of a bummer. But overall, the food was actually good. My friend enjoyed her drink- chapman and I had sprite

The food was delicious and delivered promptly. Service was exceptional, 10/10 for customer care. I loved the greenery-inspired aesthetic, it adds a beautiful, calming vibe to the space. It’s a perfect spot for a date, a fun day out with the girls, or a relaxed brunch with family.
