Boca Restaurant and Pool Bar

It is such a shame to have to write this. Because I had an all round good experience my very first time at Boca. My family of 5 was there yesterday and we got the most appalling service from a very inattentive waitress. I ordered the dynamite shrimp that I had had before, it was not fresh and tasted weird. My little cousin got the butterfly shrimp plate but wanted to get more sauce for the mashed potatoes. For one of the most expensive main meals on their menu, it was very mediocre. Our drinks came late, first bites came late, main meal came late, and of course the bill had to come late too. Took a while for them to have the leftovers packed up. We also had a fly problem We couldn’t get the waiter’s attention in time for her to rectify any of the issues we had with our meal or visit. The beef sliders everyone seems to like in the other reviews came with a stale bun. After spending over 300k went home dissatisfied and quite aggrieved. I have reached out to the person who takes reservations over whatsapp with my grievances, and he promises to look into it. I guess that should make up for our utter disappointment

I recently dined at Boca Restaurant, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was inviting, with beautifully designed outdoor seating that created a perfect backdrop for our meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Chicken Caesar Salad, which was fresh and flavorful. The Shrimp Dynamite was a standout, bursting with flavor and a delightful crunch. The Philly Steak Sandwich was hearty and satisfying, while the Regina Pizza had the perfect combination of toppings and a crispy crust. We also indulged in sushi, which was fresh and expertly prepared. Overall, the food was delicious, and the ambiance made it an enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend Boca Restaurant for both its great food and lovely outdoor setting!

First the place looks great! Clearly took their time to give it a beautiful ambience, could be anywhere in the world. Service levels not so much, for example I wanted a milkshake but they didn’t have vanilla and swapped it for something else so I asked to try a teaspoon of the replacement ice cream first but waiter said no. At the end of the meal when the manager asked how it was I told him and he brought over the ice cream to try so they redeemed themselves. The other thing is the prices are well, very high. We had burgers, pizzas and some sushi mainly. The strawberry daiquiri was quite nice, and overall I’ll probably be back.

I recently visited Boca Lagos, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The food was disappointing, particularly the slow-cooked lamb pasta, which was quite unpleasant. Even the still water they served had bubbles in it—likely due to a bad batch or storage issues — which was off-putting. One major issue was the fly problem, which made dining there uncomfortable. Considering the restaurant has only recently opened, it’s clear they have some work to do in improving the environment and overall experience. Service was another letdown. Our waiter was slow and forgetful, repeatedly mixing up or overlooking our orders. On the positive side, the manager did make an effort to address our complaints by offering a discount, which was appreciated. Despite this gesture, Boca Lagos needs significant improvements in food quality, service efficiency, and cleanliness. I hope they take feedback seriously and work on creating a better dining experience moving forward.

The meals were sumptuous and very tasty The atmosphere is really refreshing and breezy. It has a pool side that adds to the charm. The food was delicious We had to buy bread though which I don’t think was alright. The drinks were just there . All in all it was a pleasure all in.
